THE BOOST PROGRAM
The BOOST 2025 program will host 9 feature-length fiction or documentary projects over a 4-month period. The workshop offers participants three events: a 3-day collective workshop with an external consultant, a collective workshop between participants and an individual meeting with the consultant. In all, participants will produce 4 reports over the course of the workshop.
AGENDA
The BOOST program will take place in spring 2025. Number of participants: 1 group of 9 participants
THE WORKSHOPS
Some workshops will be built around specific areas of work, such as – the film’s political theme – or – character development-. As workshops are privileged moments for sharing experience and methodology, we ask external consultants to pass on their own tools to enrich the workshop “toolbox” and offer a diversity of approaches to best adapt to the plurality of participants’ proposals.
OPERATING
The BOOST program is supported by the Fondation Culturelle Suissimage and the Fonds Culturel SSA. To this end, participants will be required to pay a fee of 280 Swiss francs for the entire workshop (980 Swiss francs for production films).
The workshops will take place in Geneva and Lausanne.
CONSULTANTS
Antoine Russbach, screenwriter and director, will speak at the first workshop and follow the group through individual meetings.
WORKSHOP OUTPUT
At the end of the workshop, the Salle de sport will share the BOOST program’s projects with its entire network of producers, to facilitate meetings around the projects developed within the program.
